Mother's Day Gifts

This is one of the most important holidays if you are a man. Because if you piss off your mother, you can forget about having any peace/happiness for the next year because no matter how good of a boy you are for the rest of the year, your mother will always bring up what a loser you are for forgetting mother's day. If you are married with children then your wife is a mother. Sure, she aint your mother but the norm is that you should also give her a present. And the reasoning is that she gave you the best gift anybody can give someone = children, so you are forever indebted to her on Mother's day as well... So celebrate the women in your life with a nice pair of shoes, nice flower, etc...

It never fails, when you are rushing around in the holiday season, you will always accidentally leave someone off of your gift list that you should have included. The problem is that most people have way too many people to buy for. Therefore, there is room for mistakes and for accidental exclusions. One thing you can always do is have a few extra gifts on hand for those times when you remember you forgot someone.

Gift Cards
Gift cards are one of the best extra gifts to have on hand during the holidays. You can purchase these from a great local restaurant or from a great store in town. Since they are so general, they will work for almost anyone you know, which makes them wonderful to have on hand. They are also easy to tuck into your purse, in case you are at an event and need a quick gift. So, be sure to purchase a few extras in the holiday season. If you don't have a need for them, then you can simply use them yourself!

Homemade Treats
Another thing to have on hand is some holiday tins of homemade treats. You can bake cookies or make candy and store them in the kitchen for unexpected guests or neighbors that you might have forgotten about. Since cookies take less than a hour to make, you can easily whip them up before a holiday party or other holiday event where a gift would be nice. So, be sure to have ingredients on hand throughout the holiday season and use them well!
