The IPhone is apple’s newest phone, but it is so much more the just a phone. It is a multimedia internet enabled quad-band GSM edge supported mobile phone. What does all of that mean? It means you can access the internet from any Wi-Fi connection. You can text and visual voicemail; you can take pictures and play any multi media you want. It has a multi touch screen and a virtual keyboard with buttons.
There are some distinct downsides to this new gadget; like the fact that you must send this phone in when its time to replace the batteries and this leaves you without a phone for up to a week while the company replaces the battery that is soldered into the phone. You may use a rental phone during this time but that costs extra money. The battery replacement can be expensive. The phone itself is rather costly compared to other cell phones. Although there are none exactly like the IPhone on the market.
A gift of an apple IPhone would be a nice gift for those that can also afford the 2 year contract and monthly bill of no less then $60.00 a month, but have a great desire to have the newest technology.
